10.5 x 11.75 on 400 Black Uart Paper using Rembrandt Pastels, Schminke Pastels, Carbothello pastel pencils and Nupastels. This piece has been accepted and will be displayed at the The State Museum of Pennsylvania for the 2020 Art of the State show.

MoriARTy's in Philadelphia
On Walnut street in Philly, as we were celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday with family and friends, I came across this dark, intimate and multi-colored scene upstairs at Moriarty's Bar and Restaurant.
Standing on a chair, I photographed this spot knowing I would paint it later. This kaleidoscope scene of glowing lights and dramatic colors reflecting everywhere just seemed to pop harmonizing against a black background.
Funny, a photography friend of mine said I should name it - 'Bottoms Up.'
