I wanted to paint the excitement and dedication from thousand of runners who participated to cure cancer! Plus, having my painting accepted and hanging at Philadelphia's City Hall 2018 among all the other chosen artists for a month was exciting, too! Throughout most of the process, I turned my canvas upside down to paint the runners hoping to achieve more of a looseness in the runners' shapes and colors.
If you see some of these photos with the runners upside down - it's not a mistake. It's how I paint.
