Train Septa Penndel Langhorne Pa
Years ago as kids in the 70's, we spent a lot of time at the Penndel Train Station traveling back and forth to see our dad in Philly. Today, if you google the Penndel Station it will come up as the Langhorne Station.
And it just so happened, the other day driving, I was the first one in line to stop when the railroad crossing arm came down in front of me! Luckily, I had my camera and a golden moment to take a few photos close up.
What a personal challenge it was to draw straight lines for about 30 inches using a pastel pencil on
basically sand paper! On the other hand, I really enjoyed painting the shadows on the ground and in the metal tires. Plus, the cars' headlights glowing were a favorite area to draw, too.
